A modular, elevated design that optimizes space by integrating natural light, courtyards, and terraces to create a dynamic and stimulating learning environment.

The new building of Kinder Monte Sinaí expands the existing campus while optimizing the available space. Elevated above the drop-off and parking area, it is distributed across three levels. The ground level houses the main courtyard, library, and play area, while classrooms are arranged on two upper levels, aligned perpendicularly to the main axis, evoking stacked building blocks. On the first floor, small patios and gardens with trees are placed between classrooms, encouraging exploration and contact with nature. On the second level, overlapping volumes create individual terraces for each classroom.
The building is oriented to the south, allowing natural light to enter throughout the day. Prefabricated panels used in the envelope help maintain a stable indoor temperature without direct sun exposure. Additionally, due to site constraints and a tight construction schedule, the prefabricated system streamlined the building process.
The result is a safe, dynamic, and stimulating environment for learning.
